We live in a vast ocean. Even the highest peaks of mania sit below the surface of this void; this void that eats all joy, all color, and all purpose. I hate it.
I hate staring at the wall, brooding, ruminating on what was and mourning what could be. I hate trying to spell 'peace' with the letters C-O-P and E.
And so I stopped trying to swim. Released my fear of drowning by ignoring my need to breathe, and only then did I float.
And I saw you, the one with the broken body. And I saw you, the one with the broken heart. Can you feel me ??
And I saw you, with the sickpretty mind. And I saw you, with a crush on death. The choice was always ours.
