Is the chat still a thing?

I returned after a while but can't find the chat. Has it been removed?

On desktop I see it on the top right in between "members" and "wiki"
If you don't see it maybe you need to post more to unlock it? I know the chat and DM's both require you to talk a certain amount to unlock.

That might be it. I lost access to my old account and had to register with a proper email this time.
