Not everyone sees daily life as boring, painful and pointless drivel. I think that's a state of mind. Most people, it seems, simply accept the lows of life as temporary inconveniences, and look forward to the highs.

You could call it depression, but just like loneliness, I wouldn't know it if it bit be. I'm inclined to feel that life is worthless and meaningless, but I don't think that's the accepted norm, at all.
