Curious to wonder if deprivation of oxygen in the brain along with taking other meto, Adderall, etc, could induce savant syndrome if one is saved at the last minute?

Thoughts?

Why not? Isn't some form of tbi or brain brain injury result in this phenomenon being potentially actualized?

No. Savant syndrome is associated with neurodevelopmental disorders not TBI.

The Wikipedia article says it very rarely occurs after head injury affecting the left anterior temporal lobe. I doubt that would be a result of general hypoxia from SN.

But general hypoxia would effect that area of the brain which could induce acquired savant syndrome, no?

No that doesn't follow what's understood of the condition.

Describes specifically left brain injury. General hypoxia would affect both hemispheres equally. And in any case, most survivors of SN have no long term sequelae at all. Failing to CTB isn't going to give you superpowers.

I survived SN after getting so close I needed CPR. Definitely not some genius. The most I got from it is a shortened attention span.

Maybe the combination of Adderall and other meds can influence or effect one hemisphere more than the other?

Have you shared your SN experience already?

This reminds me when I was a lil kid i once thought that the combination of a spider bite and an electric shock would turn me into spiderman 😂 I swear it seemed like a pretty good idea then xD

What about a neurogenesis inducing med like Cerebrolysin along with Adderall, Meto, and SN?

Why are you trying to induce brain damage? And why are you doing it with such a lethal drug? I'm very confused of what your plan is. Ingest SN and then try and call for help after you die so you can be saved? I don't see why you would want to do this. If you don't want to die then don't try and kill yourself. There is no such thing as controlled brain damage. Statistically speaking SN is unlikely to cause brain damage if saved but if you are not found in time then you will either die or risk experiencing severe brain damage. And no, brain damage is not going to give your super powers, it is going to give you just that: damage. I don't know if you're trying to fuck with people or you truly believe in this but if this is your goal you need to let it go.

It is a backup in case if found. From what I have read on Savant Syndrome, it seems possible with this avenue.

Unpredictable brain damage is not a backup plan.

This is just absurd, honestly. I think you need to think very hard about what you're proposing doing if you're seriously suggesting this kind of "backup". SN is not something to mess around with.

You are completely missing the point here. Unless you're trying to fuck with everyone right now, you're delusional. Do you comprehend what you're saying right now? There is no way to be able to pick and chose how your brain will be damaged in the event that you die and lose oxygen, and are then brought back. Hypoxic brain injuries occur when all of the cells in your brain are deprived of oxygen and start to die off. They do not die off in some nice controlled fashion, it is completely and utterly random. Hypoxic brain injuries range from so mild it's hard to even tell (in my case I just have a shortened attention span from SN and I developed tics from failed partial hanging) to so severe that the person is no longer able to breath on their own, these are the cases where the plug is pulled. Anywhere in between that you can lose your ability to talk, to understand language, your personality can be completely changed, you can lose all of your memories. Or you can become a vegetable but kept alive and have to be 100% dependent on others and bed bound for the rest of your life.

To believe that you are somehow different that this and you will somehow become a genius by dying and coming back to life is simply incorrect. This is not going to happen. This is not a backup plan. And you need to open your eyes and realize that if you think surviving death is going to make you some prodigy then you are simply delusional.

* You are NOT going to get savant syndrome from SN ingestion. This has never happened and it won't happen because this isn't a very specific brain trauma but uncontrolled damage.

* You can't control hypoxic brain damage with stimulants and it's honestly hilarious that you think so.

* I would seriously reconsider being on this site if you have some secret dream of becoming a genius through a suicide attempt. This is completely delusional.

* As an autistic person who has something that is probably borderline Savant Syndrome - you don't want this in any form. I want to kill myself because of this. Being good at one thing and terrible in existing is not going to me you happy or fulfilled. It's going to make you extremely lonely and you won't make some genius contribution to the world because you're incapable of connecting with other people.

What you are spreading here is dangerous misinformation. If you truly believe this then I'm sorry and if you're trolling with this on a forum where many people are genuinely planning on ctb/on the edge then you're a shitty person in general.

There's always lobotomy! :D Just stick a thin metal rod under your upper eyelid and wiggle it around a bit. That should do the trick!

P.S.
This is a joke. Please don't do this OP.
