• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm not physically disabled. The whole not having a job thing really throws a wrench in everything. I'm attractive enough but it doesn't seem to be enough anymore.

As I understand it, the chances are higher for women than for men in this scenario.

You'd probably have to be willing to be more open-minded to someone who is also disabled in a similar way if that's the case. Even then it's still not too easy I'd imagine.

Yes, I've been in a long-term relationship while on disability. it does impact things but it isn't a deal breaker for everyone, it definitely makes it harder to find a relationship though.

Easily - with someone else on disability. I was on psychiatric disability in Canada for most of my twenties, and for most of that time had a steady girlfriend of the same tribe - a much more stable and lasting relationship, actually, than the ones I would have after recovering and getting off disability.

My husband and I are both chronically ill/disabled and were both on disability when we met (and still are), so based on personal experience it is possible. (To be fair, though, we actually met on SS.) It can be more challenging in certain ways, especially depending on the type and degree of disability one may have, but it is still possible.
