• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't mean romantic connections, just friends that don't know what I'm planning?

Personally, I don't think so. I think you deserve to have friends and good company even if you will be ending your life soon. People will feel sadness or not regardless of if you die now, or years in the future. Why should their imagined future sadness stop you from living the best you can currently.

I have given up on pleasing others. For most of my life I was a pushover and only did what others wanted. They were happy but I never was. We deserve to be selfish. We deserve to enjoy the time that we have without fear of the future. It stops us from doing so many things and that's bullshit.

Do what you think.
I don't think it's cruel.

We humans need other people for proper and healthy functioning.
If you feel the need to meet new people, I don't see a problem.
Locking yourself in your own cage is not the solution. I know something about it.

You can make your last few months more enjoyable.
I don't think you should worry about it and enjoy the time you have left.

For example, last week I met my childhood friends (I VERY rarely meet anyone) and I have no complaints.
Maybe this was the last time I talked to them, but at that point I didn't care.
I didn't think about my impending death and just focused entirely on the present.

Approach your new friends in the same way.
Enjoy the moment.

This helped me more than words can say. You're right, even when I'm trying to do the most selfish thing I can to help myself I'm still trying to people please. Thank you so much

I think it's perfectly OK to make friends in your situation. And good luck doing so.

I don't think you should get romantically involved with anyone. That wouldn't be fair to them.
