Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I think a big reason for anxiety and depression is from being on my phone too much. It causes me anxiety from the constant stimulation and bad news, and causes me depression from being lazy and seeing what other people my age are doing with their lives. My phone hours exceed 14 on average. My phone tells me every week that I spent more time on my phone than off of it. All I want to do is get off my phone so I can do anything slightly useful, but I just cant. I was addicted to alcohol for years and quit that easier than my phone. I cant even stay off of it for a few minutes before I get anxious and need it. I just want to die. Hopefully ill be successful in that soon. I cant live like this anymore. Im 22 and have nothing to show for it.

bro i was so badly addicted to my phone that the only way i could "take a break" for longer than like an hour was to switch to a flip phone and get off cold turkey. it really helped me break the habit of constantly doomscrolling. my mood has improved a lot now that im not glued to mindless content. i still use my pc to work, game and browse forums, but at least that feels intentional and actually enjoyable. if i ever realllyyy need to check social media, take a quick photo, or look something up while im out i can just borrow my boyfriends phone. getting rid of my iphone pushed me to find new ways to fill my time and get some new hobbies, like carrying a film camera, and on the bus ill read or play on my psp instead of scrolling. its been a refreshing change, and i hardly miss my iphone now. crazy i used to think being without it was impossible.

I used to be much more addicted to my phone than I am now. I used to doomscroll TikTok for hours, as well as Twitter sometimes. But now, I have a PC. When I use my PC, it's usually for something intentional and not me mindlessly scrolling through random content. I've also recently been caught up in trying to read; so, that will be a good and healthy distraction compared to just doomscrolling.
