Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I am seriously considering Pegasos. I would be very interested to hear how you decided to arrange travel, lodging etc. I'm an Exit member but am new to this forum and am not sure how to PM. If you don't mind, could you please initiate a PM with me so that we can communicate directly? Thanks!

I emailed them about my situation thinking they'd automatically reject me due to age and circumstances, but surprisingly they told me to apply. You know your life is sad when applying for assisted suicide gets you excited lol. Is anyone else considering pegasos? Funnily enough I won't have anyone by my side either way, whether I do it in a hotel room or in a clinic. My family would never support it so I'd end up being alone anyway
They ignore me, like most anybody else I reach out to for help. I emailed a doctor several times to talk about a possible treatment for one of my illnesses/conditions. It was stated it would take max 48 hours for a reply. 4-5 days since and I still havent heard back.
I swear I'm not meant to get better.

I so far have half saved. I should have more then enough by my 28th birthday. I wanted to wait to apply when I had all the cash. I have a family friend who can identify my body. I'll fly him
over on my expensive and give extra cash for him to help me out(because this is a horrific experience and I don't want my family involved) If they reject me I dunno what I'll do. It's very expensive but when I take in account my possible failed attempts which might leave me on disability, disfigured, pain , or US hospital bills that might cost me even more then then this. It kinda makes sense. If this doesn't work - my backup plan is hanging(even if I have to do it 30 times until it works). I'm leaving my all my savings , car, belongings and condo to my sister. I'll keep you guys updated. Please pray they accept me.
Wow, I wish I could afford this. It's very likely I would be excepted due to my health issues. Sucks only the financially well-off get to die with dignity.
Seriously?? I'm so surprised/shocked by that, never seen them indirectly encourage anyone to ctb before. Someone messaged me a couple of hours ago saying they're 31 and were rejected due to having depression (they didn't post on here so I'll assume they don't want to be named), which is what I expected. But their response to you is shocking, even for an assisted suicide organisation!
why do ppl feel this in encourage to ctb, its only pro-choice, everyone can make u their own minds, dont know like I gave a link to SN to a person asking for to buy it and later on they killed themselves on here, was I wrong to do that? I have guilt over it still....
I think I was the first ones to apply in Pegasos for Mental Illness (depression) and psychosomatic pain. I'm a 36 male. I read all the info in the site last year, and before even sending an email the first thing I did was complete my application with all the legal paperwork and sent the 5k Euros. It is very simple paperwork. This was in November last year. They have been very collaborative for me, and apparently it was hard for them to find a psychiatrist to do the assessment. After a few months of looking they found one that is willing to collaborate. He is in Copenhagen. If he gives me the green light I first have to go to Denmark to see him, and then head to Basel. I believe I am the first case for depression with my age range and that is why they are not accepting anyone for right now and testing the water before they start accepting more cases similar to mine. Some of the things I have done, like the method of sending money they have published it on their site which was not there last year. Pegasos is a great organization so much better than anything out there and they are in the vanguard of assisted dying. The Sarco will even be available after covid. Dignitas is run by older people so don't even bother with them. They are not very open minded and lack the will to work with people like us. They will make it impossible time wise and with extreme amount of paperwork including medical records. I believe It will be possible for us to have a dignified death but we have to be solid with our will and our foundations. The after "care" and cremation is also a big reason why I want this. Family members or authorities will not be traumatized. It is the civilized and humane way to go. This is a big factor why I haven't done it myself. The trend is turning to our side in Canada, Spain, Germany and Portugal. The most particular case is Canada, where the Canadian Psychiatric Association has declared that refusing euthanasia for the mentally ill is discrimination. This is a major victory that will soon become law in the next few years or later this year. As more dominoes fall it will become the norm. If you are serious about Pegasos, they will work with you. Complete the application, including the transfer. Worst case it is refundable.

You posted on the partners thread you have more than enough N for two people. Why bother with Pegasos if you already have the same method they would use?

omg i wish pegasos
but my family wont let me go
yo have 38 and disable so i think they accept me but my family took all my money so cant buy posions or things they know im suicidal
That didn't answer the question though. You have lots of N, which is what Pegasos will use, provided they approve you. You don't need approval or to travel for something you already have.
I'm in the same boat as you, application in process, was picking dates with Pegasos and then COVID. I can't even begin to guess when borders will open. If July, I could probably make it. October? Not a chance. I don't know what to do!

@GoodPersonEffed - I, too have two bottles of N here - as you know and have been so kind to talk with me. I know I'd still go to Pegasos to save my family from dealing with a suicide. Then again, if I go to Pegasos I would lie to family - I would be going for a "medical procedure" for my illness and unfortunately I passed away.

I know what you mean. I didn't want my family to look at my dead body. I also asked Pegasos instead of sending my ashes back home to throw my ashes into the Rhine river. This way I would have ended up in the Northern Sea.

Are you still holding out to go possibly? Wonder your thoughts on when it's possible. I guess no one knows. I REALLY do not want to die here on my own, it will be disastrous to my family. What a mess with timing! I know two other people basically approved and waiting too (older/illness)

Yes! I was planning to go around the same time as my other two friends. They are hopeful for still going this summer, I am less so. Any articles I read point to a very slow return to international travel. Switzerland is starting to loosen their restrictions internally. They are starting a three-phase lift on internal restrictions through June 8, but that says nothing about the borders themselves.
The peaceful pill handbook, as well as many posts on the forum discuss getting N from two sources, Mexico and China. As for Pegasos - while the border situation remains unclear (their site says Americans can enter as of June 15, but online sources state that borders are only opening to neighboring countries on June 15) - if you are approved at Pegasos they are able to provide medical necessity paperwork that will get you into the country.
