I see a lot of posts about sn but is amitriptyline something thats a good method? Is it peaceful if you combine it with benzos?

My understanding is that ODing on any of the tricyclic antidepressants is a pretty horrible way to go. Benzos can help prevent seizures, although I couldn't begin to tell you how many to take. Perhaps there are people here with actual professional experience in this area.
I can only respond in that with the question why is some state end of life procedures are based with this drug part of a cocktail if it was so horrible , my understanding is it can be used alone with a good amount of benzos for end of life , but it can be a slow process and good amounts of the drugs are required , but it is far more effective and used with a combination of drugs

It was featured in PPH as a way to CTB, but not in the latest edition. Wonder why that was the case..

It's in the 2023 PPeH in the lethal cardiac drugs chapter. Three different drugs are listed: Amitriptyline, chloroquine, and Propoxyphene.
