the insect killing sprays that we have in our houses, they're poison too aren't they
is there any such way we could use them to ctb ?? if there were, it would be damn too easy to do ctb considering how accessible this thing is.
p.s. - tremendous pain is out of the equation certainly.

If it were a viable option to exploit since it's accessible, more and more people would've been using it as a good enough method to use but because it has such a low rate of success and a high rate of survival with health complications, it's something best avoided.

Insecticide uses poison and dosage designed for insects, not all poison is effective on us and most of the poisons used in insecticides are neurotoxins which attack nerves and neurons. If you are revived after your attempt there's a chance that you might become brain dead or in a vegetative state that's not what you want. Most cases of people dying from insecticide inhaling are due to direct inhalation from the can which causes sudden sniffing death syndrome. All pressurized can have the capacity to cause sudden sniffing death syndrome when inhaled.

Suicide by pesticides used to be very common (1 in 7 suicides) . I was surprised by looking at the data. In case anyone is interested, it is listed by regions of the world (link).

I agree poisoning in general can take a very long time. You won´t know how much you need and risk severe pain and failure resulting in long term organ damage. I don´t even want to know what acid based in non-specified amount and concentration can do to mucus and soft tissue in direct contact, esophagus or stomach and intestines.

Saw on wikipedia that a large amount of suicides in the global south involve insecticide/pesticide. I think if you can get industrial grade pesticide, it's viable but still probably far from pleasant.

Even if you get high toxicity insecticides, be prepared for symptoms of poisoning (vomiting, nauseousness, aching, pain, etc)

This won't work and is painful and slow. If it worked efficiently those products wouldn't be available anymore. There's a Suicide Resource Compilation with way better methods.

The insecticides that you can buy easily probably won't kill you. (Well, they might if you consumed an enormous amount, but for practical purposes they are no use for ctb.) There are some insecticides and herbicides that will kill you, but it would not be a nice way to die. Read up on poisoning by paraquat (a herbicide), which is sometimes used for suicide, if the topic interests you - but don't use that method.
