I have relatively easy access to a .22lr single action revolver or whatever in my parents glovebox which sometimes they leave unattended leaving me to maybe go and get it, it's technically not my dad's so he usually doesn't keep track of where it is. I have 2 questions though.

1, is a 22 enough to kill me instantly and not leave me fucked up. I've shot it a few times and it has no recoil so I'm afraid it's not gonna be enough and I'll just end up like tyler durden from fight club or something. But I also have easy access to I think they are called full metal jacket and armor piercing rounds or something so I don't know which to use and Google won't answer.

2, if I ended up following through with my very lame plan of either ctb in my parents car or stealing it and taking it to my room, where would I point it, on the side of my head? My forehead or something? I really need help, any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: bonus question, where do I ctb with it at cause I know the gun is loud and I don't wanna scare anybody so I was thinking maybe sneaking out with the gun and doing it in some field or I could just do it in my room or parents car. However the shooting range me and my dad go to requires someone to bring a gun so my dad always brings the revolver with him. So if I wanted I could use a different gun, there's a few rentable options like a 1911 or whatever and a Glock that my dad usually gets everytime we go, but I don't wanna traumatize my dad so I'm kinda against that option.

I heard that the best angle is pointed inside the mouth trying to hit the brainstem (so, the back of the head then). I dont know much about 22 though. I also do not think you should full metal jackets, they just arent as effective for ctb. Use hollow point rounds instead. Whereever you decide to ctb please dont do it at the range this will tramatize bystanders who just wanted to enjoy their time out.

heres the only concrete data on fatality rate per bullet caliber i found that i didnt have to pay for, although this study is mostly related to homicides so it isnt exactly the same as suicide because people just shoot again, but even then, its pretty low. (also only said .22 and did not specify the exact specification like .lr etc)
in general, i wouldn't recommend it
