Discussion Information I found interesting regarding poison

So the past few days I've had some CE classes and thought I'd share some information I found interesting regarding poisoning.

Upon most scenes due to poisoning, vomit is often present. Here's some unique facts I've learned:

1. Sweet scented = chloroform
2. Almond scented = cyanide
3. Pear scented = chloral hydrate
4. Garlic scented = arsenic
5. Shoe polish scented = nitrobenzene
6. Violet scented = turpentine

Just some fun facts I figured I'd pass along :)

Unfortunately we're taught to use most of our senses, I'm just glad taste isn't one lol it's awful. Of course, in some circumstances, it's just not practical. Lol
I also wish I could have been a fly on the wall when people had to all figure them out and agree upon them! Lol "ah yes, almonds." Lol
