Idk if it's better to post my vents here or on off-topic idk man please bear with me please I'm so sorry
I'm so done you guys. For context in my household there's a lot of chores to do because my dad is like "sloth is the worst sin everrr you can't be lazy or you're going to hell, you have to work yourself to death or you're a worthless piece of trash and a parasite and a waste of space" ok I'm exaggerating but yeah basically my dad is a workaholic and he makes it everyone else's problem.
My usual day consists of dad finding literally any work to do and me helping him with it and then after I presume there's no more work to do I go back to distracting myself from this reality with technology. Today was no different, except for the fact that after I had showered and gotten all cozy in bed, he came saying he wanted me to help him with another thing but since I had already showered he would do it by himself.
Back when I was young and naive, I would foolishly be happy about something like this, because yay we avoided work. However, I have come to learn that any slight inconvenience that is caused to my dad is seen by him as an unforgivable crime. So I immediately thought aw hell nah he's gonna be so pissed at me I'm done for and sure enough, I hear him through the window saying to himself stuff like "how am I going to do this by myself" and basically complaining to himself about me being lazy.
This made me a little bit annoyed because he knows damn well that I help him anytime he asks and that I would also have helped him this time if I had known that he needed help. So I went outside to see what's up and he found a way to do it by himself so he told me that he doesn't need my help after all and I can go. And now I'm trying not to spiral because I had already messed up earlier today by not being careful enough when picking up laundry so I guess it got wrinkled and I'm telling you once he gets drunk I won't hear the end of it.
Another thing that makes me kind of bummed out is that we're a family of six so he had not one, not two, not three, but four other people to ask for help and he didn't even bother. I mean I know that my brothers often refuse to help him and my mom is on bad terms with him right now so she probably wouldn't have either but like he could have at least tried to ask them before deciding that I'm the devil and most likely that I schemed all of this to get out of work on purpose because he thinks like that very often, that an honest mistake is sometimes that was done on purpose because we're all soo evil and terrible. Don't even get me started on that.
It really sucks when things like this happen because I try so hard not to do anything that would upset him because like I said he will remember the slightest mistake and hold it against you for all of eternity. Btw sorry if I sound weird and/or annoying, English isn't my first language and also I'm kinda dumb and brainrotted and I refuse to take things entirely seriously ok bye
