Im not the most technical person, but I've been trying to figure out if I can use a hood instead of an exit bag for the inert gas method. I have 8l Argon and a regulator/flowmeter, that I want to connect to some sort of hood. I know there's the EEBD ones and the PPH also mentions some experiments done to use this. This is the hood I'm thinking of buying and the regulator.
In the latest PPH I can see that the tube/end looks kind of similar to this, however I have no idea how they attached it and it doesnt seem like they really specifify it. Perhaps its really intuitive, but I want to be certain that I know how and that its done correctly.
So I was hoping someone could help me to determine whether it would be feasible to use this mask instead of an exit bag and how to connect it to the regulator?
