Yes, I know that some guys do so, but not all.
It was even said in the court case revolving around Minassian's crime that he didn't do what he did because he was an incel. If you listen to his FBI hearing, you will know that he wasn't even completely sane.

No but he called himself one, which is what you asked. I just remembered the incel forum that exists (from the same founders as this forum) and that place is also chock full of them.
I don't think I need to listen to his hearing to know that.

Yes, that's clearly the most pressing issue with this site at present.
Thing is it's not just the stuff today, it's a recurring theme and requires a culture change of some significance imo.

After discussion with the Mod team, this thread is being locked, along with the "Ladies, Please Be Careful" thread where a similar dialogue is taking place.
I am currently discussing the concerns about misogynistic content with the wider team. I do agree that misogyny is an important issue and that this - along with any form of discrimination - needs to be addressed and dealt with here.
There's a key difference between free speech and hate speech. My perspective is that misogyny/sexism, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and any sort of discriminatory rhetoric fits more into the latter category and shouldn't be tolerated here.
This is a forum where suicidal people of all backgrounds, genders and demographics are present. We are all suffering enough and no-one should have to see harmful, discriminative rhetoric towards women or any other marginalised group. We all deserve to feel safe and respected.
