I have a lot of drugs prepared in solution, ready for injection. If I had to do it in hours (e.g. police coming after me), probably I would choose one that I can inject myself (without pump), and that I have obtained fairly recently (to ensure it works), such as isotonitazene (Early 2024, obtained as a powder and formulated into sterile injectable solution at home (using sterile and professional materials, of course). If I do not have the strength or willpower to inject (such as due to injury), I'd mix some powdered isotonitazene into a drinkable solution. I choose opioids and benzimidazoles as they typically don't need an anti-emetic or other drugs to be taken in combination, making the job easier in a pinch. Nitazenes also cannot be reversed by naloxone, unlike opioids, making them safe to use even if police/paramedics are in the vicinity.

i freaking wished i got get nitazenes through. its sounds so much better. but now with the new laws and even dark markets banning them .... its shit

But Stage 4 cancer does give a person some time to prepare, right?

The problem with suicide attempts is most are not successful, and worst of all, some leave a person with damage and pain. That's why serious people on here research things and do planning.

If I had Stage 4 cancer, unless I was in horrific pain all the time right now, I would plan things out and do research. If someone has Stage 4 cancer, I'd also see if there were legal ways to get assistance with dying to make the process less likely to be painful or not work.

first option would be: stealing a rope/shoelace or anything that could be used to hang myself, go to a forest and fsh.

second: jump in front of a train/subway.

third: climb an high abandoned or easy access tall building / bridge / whatever that would be atleast 30 meters tall and jump.

fourth (supposing i live in a coastal area): start swimming into the open ocean non stop until i get fatigued and drown or get killed by wildlife.

final (and riskier imo since you have good chance of being sent to a mental hospital or jail): suicide by cop.

Bleed myself dry. That's my preferred method anyway. It was euphoric last time. My last moments before somebody just had to save me are still the best in my entire life. The aftermath not so great but next time I will make sure nobody is around in time.

Even if it weren't my preferred method, its quick and readily available. I keep a blade on me at all times in case an emergency exit becomes necessary. Its comforting to always have an out. Unhealthy for sure but thinking 'if this goes wrong, I can always CTB' has actually helped me more times than I can count.

it's chronically inflamed sinuses, but it causes so many symptoms. It's miserable. Can get surgeries, but it comes back. Tons of meds, nothing helps.

I don't know if this is literal but I want to say just in case, at Stage IV discuss hospice care with your doctor. It's not assisted suicide, necessarily, but life-saving measures and treatment are rescinded with preference to comfort care (e.g. opioids. lots and lots of opioids). That's what I would do given the literal scenario, anyway.
