Venting I’m so in love with this guy and I don’t know what to do.

Hahaha. I hate having feelings sometimes :")

I've had crushes in the past, but nothing like this. It's pretty uncharted territory for me too, since this guy is younger than me. I've only ever had crushes, or dated people who are older. I have known this guy for 14 months now, and have liked him for more than half of that time.

I'm a big believer in not dating unless both parties love themselves first. I, by no means do not love myself. That's why I feel so stuck. He means the world to me but I cannot say anything about it, I don't want to risk ruining our friendship or dragging him down with me because of my tendency to self-sabotage.

I just wish I never had such strong emotions about everything and anything. Life would be much easier for me that way.

I get the part about not wanting to ruin the friendship or wanting to hurt the other person.

I can't say how much you love them, but if it is driving you crazy, you might as well go for it. Starving your heart wont make it any better.
Are there any clues on if he might like you as well romantically? Do you do things maybe regular friends wouldn't do?

The part about both parties loving themselves makes sense, but remember that some people can only learn to love themselves with the help of others.
This might be the same case.

Hope I'm not being intrusive or anything, I'm just soo sensitive on the topic of love haha

I also am of the same school of thought. People need to fix their issues before getting into any relationship. Because if we don't fix our issues, then the other person will also be affected by them.People who want relationships anyway come hell or high water are just selfish.
