1. The PPH is unreliable.
2. Yes, a suitcase is a good idea.
3. This depends on the country. I would buy a filled cylinder.
Which of the inert gas methods do you want to use? : SCUBA, SCBA, EEBD hood, exit bag, Rebreather ?
yeah I was just realizing they probs have different sizing in the US too. Someone else here suggested a 5 liter but I'll have to look into the equivalent of that here. I thought buying a cylinder and filling it might cause less questions since I'm not sure I can get a filled cylinder shipped to me
I was planning on using an exit bag but haven't looked into the others yet other than the rebreather, but I'm p sure I can't afford that. was wondering about the oven bag for the exit bag though bc I'm not sure how many microns those are and the PPH said to use a 50 micron plastic bag.
The price of a filling depends on the purity and quantity.
For example:
2 liter 200 bar 2.8 (99,8 % puritiy) ~ €25,-
2 liter 200 bar 4.0 (99,99 % purity) ~ € 30,-
If I remember correctly you are in the Netherlands.
DHL ships nitrogen up to 5 liters, so you don't have to rely on local suppliers.
Btw. a 5 liter bottle weighs around 12 kg.
I'm in the US, not sure I can get it shipped here, but we do have DHL. I browsed around a little online and it looked sketchy to me, mostly ebay sellers
i figured i could just wear something cute and act really cheerful and they might not ask too many questions. but if they do was just planning on saying I have a friend who's teaching me how to make nitro cold brew. I like cold brew and cooking so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch and if someone else is teaching me, I don't have to know anything technical
I was even thinking I could bring my bf with me lmfao I think he would absolutely buy that I'm learning how to make cold brew and could help me carry it if it does end up being too heavy for me. Plus if I go in with someone else, I think they're less likely to think something's up
