Today is my first day not drinking water or eating. Dying of thirst takes 3 to 10 days. With my luck it will be 10 but I am giving it a shot.
I drank one glass of water and instantly regretted it

You're right to a point. They may escort you to the hospital, but there is no law anywhere that states that you have to eat or drink everyday. Also, the hospital can not force you to eat, nor can they force you to take an iv to pump liquids in you.

Suicide by starvation is probably the only real legal way to do suicide in the US.
If they can prove you're mentally ill they can

Terminal dehydration is a real thing. Do your research. Its more common in old people. Is actually quite a peaceful and easy way to go. Compared to others. When done right.
It can be peaceful. But realize those elderly people who die this way on hospitals get tons of pain meds and nurses wetting their dry mouths and lips.

If you want to dehydrate faster I suppose you could drink alcohol or take laxatives.

You need some serious will power an major depressed attitude to do it.

Its peaceful because you can just lay there an die. Like a animal in the desert. It doesn't require putting yourself through something you have to stand for. If you really want to die. You will sit in that room and do it.

I mean almost all food is hydrating. I suppose potato chips wouldn't be. But still.

My blood pressure is usually around 130/95. Sometimes the bottom number is in its 100s.

Are you still trying to CTB by dehydration?

True but I don't think it would make that much difference if your not drinking hydrating fluids.

Even the smallest sips of water elongate life in those dying from this method. So water from food would definitely get you

Hypertension 1 because the lower 1 was at 97 it has to be at 100 got hypertension 2
Personally trying to induce a hypertensive crisis though not eating and drinking seems like a terrible way to go.

According to Wikipedia, a hypertensive crisis is when the BP gets to 180/120.

I wasn't eating for 3 days got weak. But I have been looking alcohol number one in dehydration https://www.businessinsider.com/the-reason-why-youre-always-thirsty-after-you-eat-ice-cream-2017-6
Nothing will dehydrate you quicker than alcohol. Even when I do drink and then drink water before bed, I wake up feeling like a shriveled prune. Can barley swallow. Also have you tried turning up the heat in your house to induce sweating?

I personally think this would be a horrible way to go. But it's your choice.
