Venting I'm anxious to get a Nitrogen cylinder, because I'm afraid it could explode in my closet

I want to get a 2l 200bar Nitrogen cylinder for long term storage so that I'm ready to go whenever. Obviously I can't keep it outside (or can I?) because of the great temperature changes, so I have to hide it in my apartment.

How devastating would an explosion of such a cylinder be? What could possibly make it explode?

I really want to just get this over with and have a method ready.
