Apparently I'm like a Lion isolated in captivity. No pride to belong to but I have all my needs for food, water, and shelter handed to me.

Alternatively I'm also like an Omega level wolf desperately trying to find my place in the pack but I'll die without ever passing down my genes because I'm too weak to hunt for my own food. I have to rely on trickery and leftovers.

Or maybe I'm just a shrew, or whatever creature exists only to consume.

So many choices... probably a red-tailed hawk or falcon of some sort. A tiger comes to mind... then I take a puff of weed (which I really don't like but is helping with a bit of the pain right now) and think - whoa... I wanna be a dragon living on a pile of treasure :)

I will be objective: I could not understand if you said you were an animal in a pejorative way or as something good, admirable, since your answer was short. Personally, I think animals are incredible and totally admirable, but their short response limited my perception.

It was an objective statement. Or, rather, I find the question "If you were an animal..." extremely odd, for only animals (those who belong to the Animalia kingdom) would be able to answer it.
