The healthy heart uses potassium to control rhythm. Too much of it and the heart will stop. If you suddenly get a large dose the heart will stop. It will also go unnoticed bc it occurs naturally in the body. He used injections by the way. If you inject it you will have a heart attack and die.

Hmm that's interesting, although it seems like one of those things that would be unpredictable and probably difficult to get right. I've also read about a mom who injected her son with sodium (she had munchausen by proxy) until he died, so you could theoretically do that too. Potassium injection is 100% effective? That sounds like a very nice method, although idk where I'd get the needle and other supplies and idk how to find a good vein and all that

I mean, it works.
It's difficult to start an IV on yourself and it's gonna burn like hell once the salt is in the veins.

I would also be interested in that. If you could also take potassium via tablets (unfortunately I have no idea about injections)... How much would you need ? There are also capsules that you can open to use the powder directly. And how long would you have to be undisturbed ?

The government limits how much potassium could be taken in such a way so nothing over the counter will work.

Wow this is interesting. You could give yourself a mega dose of insulin prior to completely knock You out which is available without a prescription at Walmart just ask for novolin n. And once you've got an IV line set up and you're all tied down and strapped to avoid messing up it would be an absolute painless death precipitated by hypoglycemic coma. The previous posters paper however indicated that death within seconds is possible in large primates in super saturated concentrations with high lethality, at 130mg/ml for a large primate such as a horse, the human LD50 should be about half if not less.

What sucks is I'm a needlephobe, although if I can booze myself out enough and bite the needle I could probably work up the courage.

As far as the IV line sting, an emulsion of DMSO & benzocaine applied topically should be enough to numb at least some pain as it's a transdermal carrier and benzocaine is not illegal and a powerful topical anesthetic that's also cardiotoxic. taken in conjunction with a third lethal RC opioid dose like Isonitoetazine which is the most fatal among all putting fentanyl to shame and readily available on the darknet for cheap the chances of anything going wrong are slim to none.

I tried giving myself hyperkalemia with plant fertilizer, which theoretically would raise your potassium levels enough to cause cardiac arrest, but unfortunately you just vomit it up, so I concur that it would have to be done intravenously.
