Discussion If you lived in a country where murder will be punished with the death penalty, would you kill someone?

Today in most countries the Death Penalty is basically the same as Euthanasia, sometimes even with N.

To be honest, i'd do it immediately. But i'd only kill someone who's better off dead anyways, like a suicidal or really bad person.

Either way, no suicidal person who wants to be killed wants to die a painful death. Everyone wants a peaceful death. Which is only possible by gun. WHICH means you'd be wasting time going thru the court system and gambling on the death penalty just to ctb when you had a gun in this scenario.

Go to Iran, sleep with someone out of wedlock and / or blaspheme the Prophet (both death penalty offences there) and hey presto you get hanged! No lengthy appeal process either.

Hell no, I would not want to go through months or years of rotting in a horrible prison while waiting for my trial to go through to have my death sentence carried out.

My country has the death penalty, and I've already lost a friend to it (At a very young age too, maybe this is why I'm so open to death as a concept). The reality of being on death row is not pleasant at all, and takes almost forever.

That being said, I've always found it silly how everyone begs you not to kill yourself, but when you have become a murderer, everyone wishes you to die

No! Cause killing others will take you to prison and then the long case of the murder. Morally it's not good too it would be regretfull somehow.
