• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

No, I'm suicidal for a reason. I both deserve it and it's a way to escape the life I'm in. But oh well. Hopefully in the next life I won't make the same stupid decisions.

It would eliminate my thoughts but not what has caused them. I would still be suffering but I wouldn't want to die. I wouldn't take that deal, I'll just ctb and then both the thoughts and my pain are gone. Win win.

The urge to suicide isn't the problem. Its actually irrelevant because everything else is the problem as everything else is ultimately the cause of the end product which is the final fatal suicidal act.
So no...
But perhaps a button to push that just makes everything better would be tempting.

I always tell to myself that suicide is rationally the answer, but at the same time, if I could live a life without my painful mind, maybe I would give a shot

I assume the button doesn't also magically solve all the problems I have in life, nor absolve me of all of my mistakes, so no, probably not.
If it was a magic fix every problem up to this point button however, sure, why not.

It wouldn't do squat, for they are the product of my unhappiness.

Losing my suicidal thoughts would leave my homicidal thoughts with free reign.

The only thing that has stopped me from hurting other people is the fact that I want to hurt myself even more.

No, I wouldn't. In fact, I wish they were stronger. But if I could push a button to heal everything wrong my body, I would push that button.

Can the button fix my health issues?

If so, yes.
If not, meh.

Thoughts arise because of a reality, situation, or condition we're going through. Without thoughts, we'd be like machines, but we wouldn't be addressing the root of our problems.

To get rid of my suicidal thoughts would make me suffer even more, I would be living in delusion suffering, living that isn't mine and not knowing I how to take control.
Ok so it is bad that I have suicidal thoughts and depression, but it's better knowing that I have a will to die and taking up that will, than just sitting there continuing to suffer knowing there is no way to end it. Knowing it can end is the greatest comfort of all <3

Definitively no! Suicidality is part of my personality, it would not be me anymore if I erase parts of my thinking.

From another point of view, the noose is the button.

I said unsure. On one hand, I do think life would probably be better if I wasn't suicidal. But then I'm so used to being this way I'm scared to change
