If you could exist in the world of a video game, what game would it be and why?

Max Payne. He's miserable all the time and ridden by guilt. It's the perfect match.

It'd have to be Stardew Valley or Breath of the Wild. There are games I'd like to try living in, but I am not the protagonist and I don't get resets. It'd really suck if I forgot to heal or some broken random encounter messed me up.

I've been playing the original harvest moon: a wonderful life lately. I just like raw grittiness of the game before they removed a lot of the real life aspects from it.

Anyway, the reason why I'd choose this is because I would get to raise my own animals (obviously) while also surviving on nearly nothing but mugwort weed on your farm while still looking muscular. I'll have the option of choosing a beautiful wife, and living off the grid. Harvest moon has a way of making life way more whimsical than it really is.

And this harvest moon in particular is very quirky. Example: you essentially need to eat a mushroom (shrooms?) in order to get into the harvest sprite tree - I mean if that isn't a good time idk what is.
