I definitely would if the set date for the pact was near my already planned date! Though I'd be a bit scared it would backfire and incentivize authoritied to restrict SaSu and SN even more :///

No. I'm waiting for a specific time in my life to go. A set date would be unlikely to coincide.

Even if it did though, I don't think it would help 'the cause,' if that's the idea? What 'cause' or message would you hope it would send? Is the idea to promote change? The right to die movement? Or, a general- 'This world sucks' statement?

I doubt it would be viewed like that though. I think people would start to (then, justifiably) see Sasu as some sort of cult and shut it down.

Asides from the method information side of things, I truly believe this forum serves as a supportive community for a large group of people who have nowhere else to turn. (Without risking horrible consequences.) I think a mass act like this likely wouldn't be interpreted in the way it was intended. (I'm not even too sure what the intention is even.) Plus, it would (likely) get the forum shut down for future people who need support.

The time is not ripe for this idea. When the goverments see no other ways to reduce CO2 emission they will support it.

I would join but only if it's in person. A gathering of SaSu members or something like that. I think I would prefer CTBing with other people. The more the merrier.
