Venting I wish my friends understood me

My friends have been worried about me recently, and have threatened to call the cops several times..
I wish I had more control over what I wanted to do with my lift without people trying to tell me what I can't do..

I know these are just words, but I'm sorry that you've had to deal with that. It's unfortunate that it's often the people around us who care the most that feel the need to impose their own rationale onto our lives when, at the end of the day, it's not them who's living our lives. However, that's just their way of showing that they value your existence, even if they're going about it in an incorrect and inconsiderate way

I don't think I'd be a good friend, though I know there are a few threads on here from people who are looking for new online friends. Maybe you'll be able to find the old threads promoting Discord servers. (There won't be any new ones since it's banned to promote servers here)

i had to block my friend of 10 years for calling the cops on me. i understand they did it because they love me but after weighing the aftermath of the call vs. the friendship i decided that they wouldn't be able to understand me on a fundamental level. it's not their fault. i miss them but i value control over when i go even more.

I love my friends, and I really don't want to cut them off, but I really cant talk to them about emotions anymore sadly..

yeah I became really distant from my past friends
they couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand them- there was no connection

we drifted apart after some time and it's really lonely
I think the emotional isolation is the worst for me, personally

but this place helps a lot
it sucks that we are damaged and/or broken
