I (22F) am attracted to white handsome men, problem is that they prefer Asian women instead of me. Take me out now because it never began for me. My god why do Asian American women want to be white when yall are the prize?

I've always thought that if you have to change something that you literally can't control like your race or skin color to fit into the dating pool then you're in the wrong swimming class. That is not a long term partner that you'd want.

If you're serious about finding a partner that you perceive as high value then invest in yourself. Get surgery, lose/gain weight, learn how to style yourself, and have qualities that men would want. This will take probably 1-3 years but it's a worthy investment if that is your main goal in life.

You strike me as being on the younger side. As people age, looks matter less and personality matters more. This happens to both men and women. There are exceptions but it's the general rule. Not only will you find your idea of a perfect partner be more determined by personality but the same for your potential partners.

I know there has long been this stereotype about how white men are lusting hot for asian women... but I don't know why that would be.

Don't get me wrong... as a white man, I've seen a lot of attractive women from Asia. But, I've seen attractive women of pretty much all types. I don't think I've ever seen a "type" of woman that I haven't known a few that I found attractive... and it's not like I'm in danger of having a harem if I ever wanted one... but I'm not going to feel like I "lost" somehow because I was only liked by women of a particular race. I'll be considering myself damn lucky that a woman finds me attractive and I find her attractive.

On the flip side of the assertion about asian women being "the dream" or whatever... it seems like asian men don't get a lot of love, sometimes within asia it seems like they are left out from what I've read.

When I walk down the street and I see a person of the same race, I never have any thought in my head of natural camaraderie. I don't find people of the same race/skin tone to be naturally my comrades. I know that the baseline person of any race is gonna have very different value systems from me. Very different thoughts in their heads. Very different things that they want to do. Very different programs that they want to sign on for. Very different view points about the world.

I do too. But as a man, one thing I'm grateful for, is that men are less likely to get raped.

The reason why women watch all those serial killer mind documentaries? They want to understand the mentality of anyone who potentially threatens them. Women are physically less stronger than men, they fear being murdered and assaulted. Women often travel in groups for this reason. Men can just go alone in the woods and nothing bothers them.

They are less likely to get raped unfortunately the odds go both ways and luck didn't favor me. I also don't consider myself a man anymore and I'm personally not grateful for anything that the gender assigned to me.


Anyhow, I also do what you said in the second paragraph, I say that most people who do not feel like this are living in safe areas or happened to not have misfortune hit them at an early age but it's true that most women teach eachother to be weary and stay in groups and then teach the young girls the same things and that's good.
