Sorry to say it, but what you wrote doesn't hold up—biologically or logically.

A body in a state of unconsciousness cannot untie a rope by itself. It simply can't perform a voluntary, coordinated, goal-oriented action like that. Seizures? Yes. Spinal reflexes? Sure. But untying a knot? With an "unconscious" hand? No.
That requires awareness, fine motor control, and intentionality.

So there are two possibilities: either you were never actually unconscious, or your story is designed to discourage others by being overly dramatic and frankly unbelievable.

This isn't the first time we've seen low-activity profiles pop up just to spread fear and make every method seem ridiculous, doomed to fail, or dangerous.
It's a pattern.
People who come here looking for answers don't need scare tactics or made-up horror stories—they need clarity and reality.
They worded it badly but I'm pretty sure they meant semi conscious, as in they weren't really aware of their actions but in the moment instinct took over from the suffering and they undid the knot.

Ok, because in an unconscious state it is impossible.

It's also worth throwing out that when the brain is deprived of oxygen, oxygen priority works in weird ways. The hippocampus and cerebral start to get damaged by hypoxia and the lack oxygen quickly, which suggests the brain doesn't uniformly just give oxygen to all regions. Its possible your memory also just got damaged from the hypoxia and you don't remember undoing the knot

Obviously, which is why I interpreted what they said as intending to mean semi conscious

I tried partial hanging and I became obsessed about possible brain damage, even though I didn't fall unconscious. I have OCD though so that might have a role. But if you do fall unconscious, it is kind of likely that you recover after having the brain deprived from oxygen for a while. It is easy that something just breaks, or you convulse, and the compression lifts. I don't think this is a reliable method unless you know what you're doing

Besides the hypoxia, I think there's some degree of trauma involved, like psychological trauma not head trauma, so forgetting what exactly happened sounds likely to me

Bingo, which is why I usually recommend full suspension over partial. Partial sounds nice because you can be sitting but it's a lot harder to properly pull off.

Regardless of what you said, it's not really that harmful IMO, especially since I personally feel it was clear that you didn't actually manage to untie a not without eyes closed and while you were unconscious. Moreover partials aren't really ideal because that sort of stuff happens all the time. You may not even have untied the rope, your body weight might have just pulled you down and undid the knot for you

yeah that happened, so im getting my rope soon, and I will literally do full suspension hanging with handcuffs and not being found which will guarantee death, so waiting sucks but it will be worth it for me

Real handcuffs or play ones? Can you even buy real handcuffs? I imagine you can but I'm not sure.

But if it's plastic cuffs idk if those actually work

i would do full suspension if i had a good rope and a place to stand. but maybe i'll try other methods like carbon monoxide poisoning.

This is something I wish I knew how to do. I think it would be kinda funny to pass out and have my face slam into the steering wheel.

That or just lay curled up in the back until I go eepy forever

actually, inert gas would do the same thing, you just need a exit bag/mask and a hose connected to a pure inert gas tank cylinder, you don't sense lack of oxygen because you are not holding your breath and you are expelling co2 :P Also I would do pure nitrogen and not helium because its cheaper

Inert atmospheres. To clarify I'm referring to unis not public k-12 school lol. But schools have a wide range of uses for pure nitrogen
