I would love a hypoallergenic kitty for emotional support. My landlord doesn't allow pets but my mental health professional wrote a letter so that I have a legal right to have one. But I know it's mean and irresponsible to get a pet when I'm planning on killing myself. So I won't get one. Just venting that I want to but can't.

Have you made arrangements for your preexisting pets for when you die? Or are you waiting for them to die so you can to? Just wondering.

Sending love

Anna

Try to take a stray cat. U will make the cats life better till u ctb and then when u go they can go back living on the street. All my cats are strays and after u feed them a couple of time and pet them they stop being scared.

I'd suggest you do get a cat.

Might as well seize whatever enjoyment you can.

I have a cat who is scared of everything except me for some reason,
it makes ctb'ing more difficult for sure. I suppose given that hypoallergenic cat breeds are typically quite popular and expensive, if you end up ctb'ing the cat would very likely get rehomed succesfully. If you feel like it'll make you feel better I would definitely consider getting one.
