So... After thinking about what method I should try, I finally decided on hanging as my ticket to the afterlife. I must admit, I'm not a fan of the method and if could choose any other method I probably would. However, a rope is a hundred times cheaper than a gun so... I gues I don't have a choice. Is there anything I should know before atempting this method?

There are lots of threads about the topic, endless information. I'm not going with hanging myself, I prefer SN so I don't have a lot of expertise on the topic. But I hope that you find the peace you're looking for

check the threads at the top of the forum, definitely look at partial hanging too as its a lot easier and less painful

I also just wish for access to a painless, instant method, personally I find it so cruel how I cannot just have the option. But anyway I wish you the best, I hope you find peace.

Have you already tried to feel how you tolerate a rope around your neck? You have to figure out if it bothers you, it seems to be very subjective.
