I think I might kill myself tonight

I sent out a long paragraph to the person I care about most, and I want to go tonight. However, it is not planned, and has a higher probability of failing, so I am unsure of my decision. Nobody would find me for hours, and I know I have a few methods to use, I just didn't prepare myself. I think I could succeed, but I may chicken out.
Advice or anything?

I think it's better to be prepared. You don't have to do anything you aren't ready for.
You should be sure this is what you really want. Also that it's a method unlikely to fail.
There are risks with any method. Having enough time though is important.
If you decide not to go through with it. No judgement.

Suicide is a pretty big decision- there's no going back. I'd advise against doing it in the heat of the moment and instead wait until you calm down to think it through further, so you can make the best possible decision for yourself. But ultimately, it's your call.

Personally I wouldn't act suddenly, I would rather have a sure fire plan than doing something without being mostly certain of the outcome.
Ultimately the decision is yours, and your own right. I wish you the best and hope you can find relief and peace.

If you still haven't CTB, chances are there is a part of you that wants to give life another chance, or perhaps as many chances as necessary, and if that is the case, don't supress that inner voice. Try to listen to it, try to work it out. As others mentioned here, there is no returning from CTB. It might help see things differently, and that CTB rarely is the only option. There could be other options we simply don't see or haven't thought of.

Is the person you sent that long text to the reason why you are suicidal? You should not kys bc of others.
You should try to calm down as hard as this may be and think about the situation. If you're not prepared it will most likely fail.
I'm sorry you have to go through this but unless you're 100% sure you should not attempt.
