dont try to see the world with man made values like good and bad.
good and bad was just invented by humans to organise human society because at some point our ancestor decided that they survival chance is higher when they live in groups. and living in groups only works if everyone follows the same code, the same rules. if this rules werent there the group would fell apart and the evolutionary advantage that comes with living in groups would be gone. its the same for compassion. only animals living in social groups have something like compassion - why? because its an evolutionary advantage when you life in groups.
and this rules eventually became something we know today as moral, good and bad. partly learned party already part of our dna.
but there is no good and bad in the universe or in life. there is no karma. watch an animal documentary and you will realise what im talking about
the universe was never meant to good or bad. its just indifferent.
Maybe I'm delusional but even though I see that cruelty, I believe that good exists. It may be few and far between amongst the law of nature of our world that is survival. But I have felt love before and I do think there's something to it. I understand watching things like that and I hate so much that suffering exists and it's hard to understand why it does. Why any living thing has to go through all of this.
It's possible we all just do it to make ourselves feel better, and maybe there isn't anything after this. But I do want to hope because I have seen good and love.
Even here, we don't have anything really to gain by wanting to help one another, but we do it and we see others do it. And yeah, some of it is probably because it makes us feel better as well. But, delusional or not, I have to believe there is something to it.
