seeing the destruction and turmoil in the world just blows my mind. the unfairness of it all. the insanity of it all. there is no fairness, no justice, no peace.

now i will say i believe there is a way of living that helps yourself and others around you but i just don't get why people don't follow that. there is an abundance of resources so nobody should be starving. no reason for wars. there is no reason any of yall should be suffering given the amount of medical and psychological treatment we have.

i just cant get over waking up in the morning and realizing the world is complete shit for no reason at all.

This is the truth. I lived with blinders on for almost my whole life. Now that I know what life really is, I'm terrified. And mortified at the situation I've put myself in.

I have the same feeling, but about my life, not the world.

Funny thing about suicide--and maybe I'm alone here--is that you start seeing the world as so good. You just wish you had lived better so you could participate in it. I live in a beautiful quiet suburb. Stores to meet your every need surround and there are lots of pretty women. Yeah, there's suffering in the world but so much joy too (for the winners). I would have liked to experience more of that.

It may seem that way from a bird's eye view. Maybe Thanos was too soft with humans :) I wonder if we could care more about each other were we had collective pain/pleasure. Not everyone is concerned about others for some reason. I know I'm not. I'd say we weren't designed to be that cooperative, but some humans I've met before prove to be otherwise, and interestingly to some extent, they all appeared to be very smart.

Yeah the world is fucked.. the one little thing i am thankful for in my life is that I'm not growing up in this day and age. i feel so sorry for the kids now. while they have great tech and easy access to all the information in the world.. the world has become a dumpster fire and it's truly something horrific they are going to be inheriting

I totally agree. My life in the 80s and 90s was not perfect by any means, but quality of life and possibilities were so much better than the awful state of things now, which will likely get worse.

We really do have a similar situation. My life could have been beautiful if I had understood everything when I was young. Purposeful and happy.

There is a lot of cruelty and suffering but there is good. I don't know why I didn't ever just "get it".

dont try to see the world with man made values like good and bad.

good and bad was just invented by humans to organise human society because at some point our ancestor decided that they survival chance is higher when they live in groups. and living in groups only works if everyone follows the same code, the same rules. if this rules werent there the group would fell apart and the evolutionary advantage that comes with living in groups would be gone. its the same for compassion. only animals living in social groups have something like compassion - why? because its an evolutionary advantage when you life in groups.

and this rules eventually became something we know today as moral, good and bad. partly learned party already part of our dna.

but there is no good and bad in the universe or in life. there is no karma. watch an animal documentary and you will realise what im talking about




the universe was never meant to good or bad. its just indifferent.
