Discussion I might have to ctb sooner

So, I got in an argument with someone on the internet a while ago, and they're currently messaging people I know telling them that I am a pedophile, and have connections to illegal sources. None of this is true, and I don't even know who it is that is spreading this rumor, as it was some random on another website. I've contacted the police, but I worry that my life has already been ruined. I was originally going to ctb on Halloween, but I think I may do it sooner. Much, much sooner.

That sounds like a really horrible situation to be trapped in, it disgusts me how humans can be so cruel and can make existing much worse, you certainly cannot trust and rely on people in this hellish world. But anyway I wish you the best.

Other people tend to act childishly when they don't get what they want, as we have seen time and time again. Your experience sounds terrible and I hope you can find a way out of this mess. Make sure that you don't rush your ctb, else I can imagine that you will end up in big trouble if you fail.

That's awful. If you know these people, can you send them screenshots that the two of you had an argument and that he's making this up to ruin your reputation? If he's telling people this with no proof at all, I feel like those people are just stupid for believing him when anyone can make something like that up

Unless you're a famous influencer, I can assure you that your life is not going to be canceled because someone might spread rumors about you. Very few people would ever believe such things without evidence and even fewer would really care to the degree that it would ruin your life. Also, it's generally a bad idea to CTB over the anxiety of possibly having a future problem that doesn't even yet exist.
