Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I understand, but please don't take on that responsibility and make the dog the carrier of your emotions, not if you can't commit. This is the kind of thing that breaks my heart. If we didn't ask to be born, the dog didn't ask to be brought into an unstable situation.
I don't want to put pressure on you, but this is not a laughing matter. I see people responding with messages about how cute the dog is, but a dog is not a toy. It's a living organism. I'm going to be blunt with you: it was a very stupid decision to buy a dog for that much money, when there are plenty of free dogs at shelters that need a home. Your action will only encourage the behavior of those "breeders" who view this as nothing more than business, considering they refuse to take it back once they took the money and don't care about the well being of the dog.
The action is done and can't be undone, so I hope you realize that from now on YOU are 100% responsible for the dog's well being, so you either need to find someone who makes sure to take great care of the dog or do it yourself. Remember: we become responsible forever for what we have tamed.

Come and play with me," proposed the little prince. "I am so unhappy."
"I cannot play with you," the fox said. "I am not tamed."
"Ah! Please excuse me," said the little prince.
But, after some thought, he added:
"What does that mean--'tame'?"
"You do not live here," said the fox. "What is it that you are looking for?"
"I am looking for men," said the little prince. "What does that mean--'tame'?"
"Men," said the fox. "They have guns, and they hunt. It is very disturbing. They also raise chickens. These are their only interests. Are you looking for chickens?"
"No," said the little prince. "I am looking for friends. What does that mean--'tame'?"
"It is an act too often neglected," said the fox. It means to establish ties."
"'To establish ties'?"
"Just that," said the fox. "To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world . . ."
"I am beginning to understand," said the little prince. "There is a flower . . . I think that she has tamed me . . ."
----
"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose . . ."
"I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.
I love dogs so so much but I'm also going crazy!!!
I quit my job last week
Stopped taking my pills today cuz I'm going nuts with them
I'm planning to CTB soon
But today I don't know what happened!! Woke up and decided to get a dog!!
I'm in love with him he so cute but I'm going to CTB soon !! What I was thinking!! When I don't have family or friends!!
What do I do now?
I'm going crazy :(
I am of the opinion that it is not our business what you do with your money. You obviously can afford the discretionary expenditure. Loneliness can be a huge abyss that can engulf our being; often we would do anything to fill that emptiness. I remain hopeful that your newfound love for your puppy will change your perspective on CBT.

quite harsh message to send to somebody clearly having an episode & not capable of thinking rationally. i agree it is not a good thing to have done, but it's quite sad rather. this person made a reckless decision, they're not abusing the animal. i'm sure lots of people buy a dog & suddenly die soon after, doesn't make them cruel - that is life. anyway i don't recommend bringing a poor animal into an unstable situation like this, BUT your message isn't helpful to them at all and is just judgemental
Whatever you decide, if you are in the uk dont take it to the dog shelter as they will only keep them for a week before putting them down. Also if you decide to keep it please be aware that dog thieves in many countries have been a lot more active recently

I might've been too harsh. I apologize, OP, for being so judgemental. I wasn't thinking rationally at the moment and let my frustration get the best of me. I've seen many cases of animal abuse and neglect at the local animal shelter so I automatically assumed the worst and went off. Again, I'm sorry for being so harsh, I wish all the best to you and your dog.

I was going to buy a dog a while ago after my mother passed. I then went to an animal shelter but the staff weren't very helpful so I left. So, yeah anybody who thinks they will not be here long please don't get a pet. They (like children) are dependent on you. Let this be a lesson to all.

I don't think it's uncommon to go on spending sprees when you're planning to ctb, although I could be wrong. I find myself spending money more easily because hey, I don't feel like I'll be spending any in the near future.
Not so bad in theory but can create problems if you decide to keep living after all.
if you really won't be around, don't wait to find a new home for the puppy. It wouldn't be cool to let it bond with you and then disappear.

. I think it was mania. I just drove up and down the street asking the homeless that seemed sane to take him. They take the best care of their dogs. I know we may have a difference in opinion…. But I found a guy that seemed like he'd care for him and yeah so yeah
