Method I know my method is a bad idea but I don’t have an alternative

I'm planning that I will CTB relatively soon, and my method isn't the greatest choice.
I plan on going out with a knife stab to the throat l, I'm relatively short and small for my age so I'm hoping it's a quicker job than what I see online.

I know the risks, I know it's not likely to be quick or painless, but it's all I have access to. No OTC drugs are going to work, I have no rope or place to try hanging from, no access to a gun or high places without obviously making someone suspicious.

I've accepted it's probably going to burn and hurt but honestly, at this point, it's worth it if it means the greater anxiety and terror stops. Maybe if I was lucky, I could wait for a better quicker option, but I just don't think I am.

Don't do that. You definitely have access to something you could use for hanging, it's a lot more reliable and less painful.

that will be very traumatic and terror inducing for you. have you looked at the other methods here cause this one may not be the best. if you are dead set on this, aim for coronary artery. i wish you the best <3

You might be underestimating the power of the survival instinct. The chance of failure is high, and the consequences are ugly. In any case, I wish you the best.

ppl generally underestimate how much of your animal brain wants to stay alive no matter what.
and you're going to be in a lot of horrific pain. if you cant slash your arms do you think itll be any easier to slash your throat?

you seem like you have alot of empathy for other people which is a great thing. we need more of that more than ever.
i will add tho that a bomb strike against the us is really unlikely to happen anytime soon. if the news tomorrow says that there's a missle strike incoming for the us you can @ me and say i told you so.

you live in the United States but are concerned of the strikes happening in Iran?

even if their military action could reach us here we have such a great missile defense system, it would be obliterated before anyone on the coast could see it.

still, completely understand your concern. it is frightening living through a war.

knife in the throat can cause serious problems.. do you have any bedsheets or rope?

I'd rather a bomb take me out over stabbing myself in the throat. It's not like what you see in the movies, where the knife goes in someone's throat and within seconds, they are dead.

It's painful, and if it goes in wrong, you will be in worse shape than you are now. You'll be patched up, and learning sign language, probably be breathing through a tube that is attached to that hole you put in your throat, and no one will leave you alone long enough to try it again.

Take everyone's advice and choose another option.

Part of me wants to believe I'll be okay, to keep living, writing, see my nephew grow up. But a larger part of me is terrified and just needs to end it with all the anxiety and fear in my system.

Bro. If this world was some sort of show. The USA would be the main character.
The whole world would turn to dust before the us gets hit once.
There probably more chances it starts raining frogs than having a missile in ur area.
For now breath and take it slow. Im not trying to make u live. But u have time to think of much better options.
