I guess my primary distraction is work, which I do to get money to help support family. So I tend to go all in on projects. I was asked to work on something, so I went all in on it. Worked very hard to learn all about it. Tried many different ways to move things along. Was getting a curious lack of any kind of reaction for anyone. This has been going on for weeks. After finally getting some blunt feedback and after a few events on Friday, I realized... I misunderstood the whole fcking thing. I made a huge deal out of nothing. As if I was asked to build a doghouse and instead I laid the foundation for the world's tallest building. I was lost in my own imaginary world. Now that I've woken up, I'm extremely embarrassed to have noisily gone "sleepwalking" around the company. People must think (or know?) that I'm insane. If I still had a soul I would be dreading Monday. The shell of my body will show up in the office, thank God I'm dead inside. I do wish these dark circles under my eyes would go away, but I forget they're there so it doesn't matter.
