Same.Lmao I'm actually cooked of the god of islam is real
the idea of being "our own gods" It assumes we have ultimate control, yet life often demonstrates how limited our control really is. Suffering, death, and the unpredictability of nature remind us that, despite our abilities, we're still subject to forces beyond our comprehension or mastery. We are all gods. Without exception. You have the power to create and take life, to completely shape the environment to your form. The human being by nature is already his own God. You rule your own life.
Indeed the idea of suffering and being vulnerable to nature may make you think about it, but even in religions somehow gods often suffered for their own creations. And you DO create life from the moment you have full capacity to have children and perpetuate your species, just like killing or not killing your fellow human beings.Even when it comes to suffering, you can often avoid or lessen the extent to which it affects you. God is nothing more than an analogy for the human being as a species.the idea of being "our own gods" It assumes we have ultimate control, yet life often demonstrates how limited our control really is. we haven't mastered the power of creating life yet we still got along way to go before we become our own gods
It's worth noting that creating life biologically doesn't necessarily equate to mastering life. We reproduce, but that's a biological imperative shared with all species. Mastery implies an understanding and control that we are far from achieving. We cannot control the outcomes of life we bring into the world, nor can we shield it entirely from suffering, illness, or death.Indeed the idea of suffering and being vulnerable to nature may make you think about it, but even in religions somehow gods often suffered for their own creations. What sets us apart from all other species is the act of thinking and knowing how our actions impact those around us. A Beetle and a Lamborghini carry within themselves the same systems to move, But one is clearly superior to the others. Humans are like that. You can't create life from scratch, but I've never been shown that a god could actually do that. It's worth noting that creating life biologically doesn't necessarily equate to mastering life. The apples never fell far from the tree.If we have a creator,we are cooked.Slavery and need for control are passed down in all humans.Anyone who ascends past this need of to control and the need to submit, ascends their primitive nature. But most don't,they are too caught up with the idea that constructs of the human populace is equal to base realitySame.
Any God though,
Since I have my SN now, this has been on my mind.
What if there's a God and he'll show no mercy? And I'll be damned to eternal pain, agony, and hellfire.
Not true if you're a wolf born among sheep. The sheep fall down one after another down a cliff, following each other blindly. How many sheeps will the wolf consume intellectually, to get away from the madness, when the sheep have cunningly defanged such a glorious animal?Such is the nature of human society. We are all gods. Without exception. You have the power to create and take life, to completely shape the environment to your form. The human being by nature is already his own God. You rule your own life.
Thank you so much.I am not religious per say.But I am afraid that this is an eternal slavery pit. This forced existence. And that we are puppets to a cosmic evil entity, that takes pleasure in torturing people. What better way to screw up your puppets than to create a "divide and rule",to hide yourself so the puppets keep wondering if there are strings holding them or not, punishing them in various ways that suit your fancy? The way religions are created is to appease the culture they are created in, which is why so many old religions have ridiculous morals thousands of years later. If there was a benevolent god (as in Christianity) they would be very different to how it's portrayed. They wouldn't bother to give rules that only humans could come up with like "don't kill" for example, instead they would be using their benevolence to benefit living beings. It's silly to worry that a benevolent god is anti-suicide when there is no evidence that they would be. Sadly, religions have a lot of psychological control over people, which is why they were created. You shouldn't let yourself get bullied by the religious organisations that dictate the rules. But, it's understandable that you would be worried or upset and I hope you can find a solution to your worries.
This is definitively wrong. Also I would argue that no, humans do not have the power to create and take life or shape the environment. In fact I would argue that we do not have the power to do anything at all. What you are describing are just what you could call 'tools' or 'functions' given to you by the universe, a god, just chance or whatever else you want to call it. You don't even have the ability to exist on your own and you were given that by this world. The function to interact with the material universe in your body was given to you, the ability to perceive and observe the material universe was also given to you, and so was the function of being able to reproduce along with every other attribute you own. You literally 'aren't' without an external cause so you're practically nothing without the Universe. You have absolutely no power over anything. Just some food for thought. We are all gods. Without exception. You have the power to create and take life, to completely shape the environment to your form. The human being by nature is already his own God. You rule your own life.
I can definitely rock with this.We are all gods. Without exception. You have the power to create and take life, to completely shape the environment to your form. The human being by nature is already his own God. You rule your own life.
I still struggle with this, but c'mon. He would be constantly interacting with us, but only invisibly. This after doing all kinds of miracles in the past. Everything God supposedly does would look exactly the same if people were just making it up.Same.

It's the most terrifying belief out there.Nothing is worse than being stuck here forever. It's a terrifying thought. Imagine all of us end up having to find a way to ctb in a higher reality. It's scary to think out layer is one of the lower layers. This is why I find Gnostics so interesting
Please do lol, (seriously though, it'll be one hell of an experience)When I ctb I will text yall on here and let you know if theres a God
