Ok, CTBing in Switzerland isn't as easy as just paying their price, you actually need to get approved first.

Happy for you that you dodged this bullet. I just renewed my lease even though I'm hoping to CTB soon. I'd rather CTB on the first day of my new lease than on the last day of it under pressure & duress. I also need to know that if god forbid I fail that I have a place in which to try again the next day.

I'm glad that you got it all taken care of due to your uncle's good grace for you~ :) It really sucks how you had to pay so much at the end of it all tho~ >_< I'm just glad that you were not forced into a choice you were not ready for yet~ :) I wish you the best in your future here~ ^_^

HOLY CRAP i'm still alive....... I CANCELLED CTB....... but just barely..... i dodged a bullet........... and now here is my hours of yap about it.........

i woke up on monday with less than 24 hours left before the sheriff was going to come and physically evict me.. i was already pretty scared through the weekend but on monday i woke up REALLY terrified..... i was super panicking...... I was reaching suvival instinct levels that shouldn't even be possible.. every fiber of my entire being wanted to cancel CTB and the eviction any way possible..

at this point i didn't even know if it was possible to cancel the eviction from happening.. grok told me that since the court already approved the landlord company to be able to evict me that it was completely up to the landlord/management company to decide if they would cancel the eviction but said they usually want the entire rent and fees and every thing paid off..

so i started coming up with a story to tell the management guy.. it took me like 45 minutes to get the dates right and every thing but i ended up coming up with a story that says my aunt usually pays it but she took a 2-month trip to thailand to visit family because her husband is a thai guy and she thought she turned on auto-pay before she left but the website didn't actually enable it, so we didn't know rent wasn't being paid.... and then i came up with an additional fake story that i was on vacation my self visiting my dad in minnesota for 3 weeks and so that's why i didn't show up in court because i didn't even see the court notice and by the time i was back from vacation i had already missed my court date..

all of that story is false.. i can't just tell them "oh yeah i was actually going to CTB and so i stopped paying rent on purpose but now i decided i don't want to CTB any more".... so with the story i came up with it made it seem like nothing was really my fault and a few unlucky things happened in a row.. I was scared i wouldn't be able to keep the details of the story straight when i called him, but i had to try calling any way, but then he didn't answer, and so i tried texting him; he responded.. and that made it easier to keep my story straight because i'm just typing it instead of having to talk and think in real-time..

and just like grok said, the manager said he will cancel the eviction IF i pay the entire amount that is owned, which includes previous month's rent, this month's rent, the late fees, and a $200 fee for them having to go to court to get approval to evict me.. The total was a little over $900..... that's a lot of money for a complete hobo like my self, and plus i had blown all my money on food and stuff because i figured i wasn't going to be here soon so i might as well use all of my money..

i immediately called my rich uncle.. he is always super busy running his security company he owns.. i told him i did some thing extremely stupid and that this is an emergency and i need to come to his office right now and talk with him and i told him i'm going to be evicted tomorrow morning if i don't pay $900 today.. he said he is busy negotiating some deal at some kind of truck lot but that he will tell me when he is back at the office.. So i waited like 2 hours i think and then he finally texted me back and said he is at the office.. so i put it in plaid and drove quickly (but still safe; i wouldn't want to die on the way there) to his office..

i told him my plight and he yapped at me for like an hour about how i have more potential than this and i could really be doing bigger things with my life to make more money even despite my disabilities i have.. and he's right.. and he also said i should take some walks on the park trails around here because it's just nice to have some sunshine and be outdoors for a little bit instead of cooped up in a box all day, and he's probably right about that too..

so then we drove in his vehicle to his bank and he got $1000 out and gave it to me, and then i drove my vehicle to my credit union, deposited it all, and immediately went back to my house and paid the whole rent due and messaged the manager guy that it was all paid so please cancel the eviction.. and he said okay he has cancelled it now.. he said if the sheriff still shows up to tell him to call the manager so he can tell the sheriff every thing is good now..

i started crying right after that..... every thing that quickly happened that day just hit me all at once..... i had woken up that morning thinking i was going to have to CTB, and i was SO TERRIFIED and panicked, and i had no idea if every thing would even work out.... not knowing if eviction was even cancellable, not knowing if the manager would believe my story, not knowing if my uncle would be available, not knowing if he would actually help me, not knowing if i would be able to pay it in time..... there were so many unknowns, and they all had to work out and my life was literally on the line.. a literal life and death situation.. i dodged a bullet..

i can't believe how strong my SI (survival instinct) is.. i didn't expect it to be any where NEAR that strong.. it's a good method too (H2S).. all i had to do was mix one thing with an other and then bam i'm CTB instantly.. it showed me how terrified i really am of dying.. which is weird because i have a very strong belief of spirit world and i know i'll be perfectly fine once i'm actually there, but for some reason i still don't understand why the actual process of doing CTB scares the living hell out of me.. it scared me so much that i was literally considering being homeless rather than CTB if i couldn't cancel the eviction.. it is THAT scary to me.. it just boggles my mind why i am so scared, because i have ear problems and brain damage and i'm old (44) and i don't really care about this crappy life.. but for some reason that experience (it almost feels like it caused PTSD a little) scared me so much that i feel like i want to continue living for years more now, at least..

and an other thing it taught me was: do NOT stop paying rent just because you are planning on CTB soon.. it puts you in to a dire situation where you feel rushed instead of being relaxed and being able to put it off an extra day or week or month if you feel like it.. it is a horrible situation to be forced in to like "oh god i have only 1 day left and then i mandatorily must CTB".. don't do that to your self..

it also made me realize that i think i would rather CTB with an other person because it feels really scary to do it all by your self.. OR, actually what i consider the gold-standard for CTB is doing the switzerland thing where you save up like $20,000 plus plane ticket and go do their CTB thing over there where they just give you a drink (nembutal or some thing?) and but the important thing is it will feel formal and you will be comforted by people and they talk to you and stay with you while you are doing it etc.. so it is probably the least scary way, and most reliable way possible, although it is the most expensive but holy crap, it is worth it for people that are absolutely terrified like me (not that i have any money, but so i would have to save up for a long time, but still worth it to people like me)..

my uncle is right..... i have so much untapped potential, and i've been doing basically NOTHING with my life.. i want to try to do big things with my life now even though i'm already old.. i want to ACTULLY try to turn things around.. i'm going to try to put my self out there some how, maybe try being a game-streamer or some thing since my personality is always hilarious and cool and funny.. i've always been way too nervous about exposing my self to the public like that but i think this event that terrified the living heck out of me changed some thing in me now... it made me want to live more than i have wanted to live in a long time.. it's not "it's so over" any more, it's we are so fracking back now..

i love all of you guys and appreciate the big thread we have made here.. and at least me wanting to CTB brought me back on to these forums and i've been trying to help other people on here with my advice for their situations and even though i am not going to CTB any more any time soon, i might stick around the forums some times to still help some other people out every once in a while.. there is so much suffering in the world and i'd like to try to help pour some love and consolation and guidance in to the mix to make it suck just a little bit less for some people if i am able to..

i just re-read my entire yap i just typed, and i want to say one more thing before i send this out to the world.. I am VERY lucky to have a rich uncle, and this is not the first time he has saved my life.. but not every one has a rich uncle that will save their ass at the last second like i do.. so i want to posit this one word of advice: Have some savings money! Do not ever run your self down to zero dollars.. As long as you have any type of income stream at all you can start accumulating savings.. i could yap more about it for a long time but if you are thinking that putting $10 or $20 in savings at a time isn't very much then it shouldn't be enough money that you will miss it then either, so put it in there any way.. small amounts that you spend on fast-food and other junk add up over time.. your savings might literally save your life some day.. your goal is to never use it because it is for emergencies, but if you do have to use it then be sure to replace it and put money back in to it in case it needs to save you again in the future..

any way, thanks for reading all of my yap.. i know i yap more than any one else.. but it's a feature, not a bug!..
love and light..
i'm so glad you're still here and that it all worked out!! that's such a scary situation, i'm sorry you had to go through that... i hope you're able to live your life happily and put your energy toward passions and projects you want to do :)

I want to specify that after reading this, you're not "Forum member XYZ" in my view. While I am not in your situation yet, it was something I thought about. Everything that is far, even if perfectly planned, seems distant to us until the time comes, and then the truth of how one will feel will arise. While I am not in your situation yet, I understand the feeling. 🫂 I'm sorry I don't have any better advice for you but I'm sending you my best wishes.

how do i stop being so scared???..
i stopped paying rent on purpose (i could have kept paying if i wanted to) because i was planning on CTB soon so i figured why not get like the last month of rent for free?.. and so the landlord people went to court to get eviction rights, and on friday (2026-07-17) the sheriff put a notice on my door that i'm going to be forcefully evicted on tuesday morning (2026-07-21)..

even though this was part of the plan, it sucks now that i'm actually in this situation where i don't have the freedom to relax and choose exactly when i want to CTB.. i mean, i was prepared for it any way but it just seems so sudden.. i honestly thought i would have a little more time than this.. it's just like BAM you have to CTB in 3 days.. i don't even know if you can cancel the eviction at this point? but 1: i don't have the money now any way (i blew it on fun stuff since i figured i wouldn't need money soon), and 2: i really DO want to CTB, so i definitely don't want to continue in this life.. i've already been postponing my CTB for like a decade now, and my life has uncurable things like ear problems where i have to protect my ears all the time, and i had a stroke in 2020 that caused severe brain damage which is the worst thing that has ever happened in my life.. it is hard to concentrate or do things normally now and there is obviously no cure for brain damage and my brain has healed as much as it is going to by now.. oh yeah and i'm 44 years old *jazz music stops* and i know that seems like "middle-aged" but to me it seems super old.. i was always a person that never wanted to be old.. when i was a teenager i told my self i don't even want to live past age 30 but yet here i am at fracking 44 and a half years old..... on the road to 50..... no thank you!.. back in my day the only meme we had was big chungus, and we were thankful to have him..

... ANY WAY...... my main point is... and this is probably my SI (survival instinct) talking.... but CTB IS SUPER SCARY!!!!!!... oh yeah by the way my method is H2S (hydrogen sulfide)..

i know to you i just look like user number 29840724 on the SaSu forums that is panicking about CTB, but when it is actually YOU that is going to CTB it is SUPER SCARY.. i can't even mentally cope with this.. it feels like i'm on death row about to be executed and i'm panicking so much..

i know there was a thread mentioning that MDMA and ketamine help suppress your survival instinct so it is easier to mentally allow your self to CTB, but i am not a drug person at all so i don't have time or really desire to get or take any of that stuff.. I don't even drink alcohol.. But so, what are some ways to suppress SI?.. i think maybe being super sleepy might help? or maybe listening to some music.. but is there any thing else?..

and, i strongly believe in spirit world for the afterlife, so i believe i'll be fine and still conscious as a spirit after i'm there, so i'm not worried about my self after the fact.... it's just that leading up to doing it is incredibly scary..... i feel like i wish i had people with me or some one to CTB with me so it isn't so fracking scary..

HOW DO I STOPPED BEING SO SCARED?!?!?????? (but i still want to continue CTB.... even if i kicked the can down the road i would still run in to this day when i have to deal with this)..
it just seems so final....... this is the end of your entire physical existence..... that's a heavy concept for your mind to deal with doc.. i wish i could be one of the people on here that can just do it easily with out being scared to death.. or i wish i could just get randomly hit by a bus or some thing (does that still count as catching the bus?) so i don't have to sit here alone and scared and have to be the one to actually do this thing... because it seems so much realer and scarier when it is actually YOUR TURN to do it.. all the people on this forum that are in a better place now were brave (at least in this aspect) in my opinion.. i am not brave at all and i don't like doing difficult things like this.. i want the easy way out.. this does NOT seem easy to me.. i don't know how the heck to muster up all the nerve in the world to be able to do this.. it's so insanely hard to "just do it"..

and one thing that i think is sad on the SaSu forums is that it doesn't have enough users to where every one always gets lots of responses... it's too often when some one pours their feelings out and they some times don't get hardly any response except maybe like 1 heart reaction or some thing.. but by the way i'm not asking for tons of responses.. i know i yap tons and no one has time to read all my yap usually.. i think the only thing that would help me is having some one physically with me when i CTB..... but it's too late for that and i don't want to make things that complicated at the end here.. but so i think the thing that would really help me is knowing some how of how i can suppress my SI and calm me down some how to make it less stressful and nerve-racking to CTB here shortly.. i am going mentally nuts from all this stress!.. do you guys have any suggestions besides drugs?..
After being bedside when both of my parents and my mother in law died, I had an insight into the process that gives me great purpose and determination.

I watched them navigate what I realized is the MOST IMPORTANT EVENT of their lives.

Nothing else we do, not get married, not become parents, not anything, is as important as the exit event.

I understood this at a cellular level as I watched them walk out of their earth suits, and I determined that when it comes my time, I am going to treat this event like the monumentally important event it is. It deserves reverence, respect, good planning, confidence and trust.

You say you are OK with the idea that consciousness survives its connection to the earth suit. So trust that. Chances are good that this is not your first rodeo and won't be your last, so treat it like the sacred experience it is.

I hope this helps you reframe your perception. I wish you all of your best outcomes no matter what form they take.

that sounds like a very stressful situation! i'm glad that the landlord accepted your story, and i'm so happy that your uncle helped you out. it must be a huge relief to have your rent paid, to still have your housing, and to not feel forced into something you don't want to do.

your comments are always supportive and i enjoy reading them, and you come across as a very caring and sincere person. on a personal note, i am glad you decided to stick around :) it sounds like you have gained some very meaningful insights from this experience, and it sounds like you are feeling much better than before! i'm so happy for you 🫂

i also feel like i have untapped potential and i'm hoping that if i can talk to a family member or a therapist or something, maybe they can help me figure out what i should do and how i can stay on track. it seems like your uncle really helped you today, maybe he would be willing to give you advice or help you find resources for your future?

i wish you the best of luck moving forward!

I experienced it. It was pure hell. You are very strong person to go through that and still be able to live
How long did you experience it and from what?

It's been 20 days of this. It's the most cruel form of torture any human could ever experience. I just try to make it the next 10 minutes.

Wow, you got saved by a kind rich uncle. I wish everyone on here had someone to help them and give them another chance. Sadly the reality is that many of us do not. I think there is some reason you are ment to stay here and I hope you do turn things around and can make the most of your potential. I'm sure by reading your posts that you have a lot to offer others.
