I'm sick of this life, I don't want to live anymore, I'm just worried about the pain of dying. I'm a wuss and cant take physical pain, nor would i want my last thought in life to be of it. This is why I cant throw myself off a bridge, hang myself or shoot myself. I really want to try the exit bag. But would it really be painless? It says it is, but how do they know it doesnt cause any mental anguish?

Anytime your conscious and approaching death there is mental anguish, in the days when they didn't mix air in helium, 4 breaths and you first lose your vision, but your still conscious, pretty distressing. I would guess the best way would be to close your eyes and listen to music.

All of the "peaceful" methods involve deprivation of air to the brain and heart, by displacing oxygen from the blood, the hope is you lose consciousness quickly so we can be oblivious to the other effects.
