Discussion I hate being called a loser for having suicidal thoughts

I never chose to be born into this life and if I finally decide I can't keep going because the pain has become too much to bear I'm called a coward and a loser I'm already treated like a failure because I haven't achieved what people expect of me but if I reach my giving up point I'm being judged even more Why is society so cruel to da people who are struggling..

It sucks that people judge people like us for wanting to die because like you said, we didn't choose to be born, life was literally forced upon us. In some ways, you could probably say that everyone is a loser because we were brought into the world kicking and screaming to begin with, and we were all sentenced to die and suffer from the very beginning by people who wanted someone to love them the way they couldn't be loved in any other way.

All of us will end up on the chopping block when it comes to suffering and death, and it's totally random when it happens to us. Having suicidal thoughts comes down to having the desire to have control over our lives. Having control over how and when we die, and how quick and peacefully it is, that means everything to me. Without that, how can I have control over anything that happens to me? How can you have control over anything that happens to you? We shouldn't have to suffer more just because other people don't like the idea of us having that kind of control over our lives like that.

While I do understand that most people do prefer to live, I also know that isn't everyone. People who judge us for wanting out of this life and for not being like them are really just projecting their own fear of death onto us. They see it as a negative thing, to want to die, but that isn't the way I see it because I see death as an escape from suffering that was forced upon me. My only hope is that death actually is the way out and it doesn't lead to more suffering in some kind of stupid afterlife I don't even want.

If anyone is calling you a loser for having suicidal thoughts, they are seriously not worth your time or energy. Fuck anyone who says that to someone for having suicidal thoughts.

"Loser" is an entirely subjective social label. Please try to remember that. And for what it's worth, I don't think you're a loser. Certainly not for being suicidal.
