Venting I got a job

I made a rule for myself that if I got a job then I'd have to stay no matter what and I couldn't cheat by just not applying.

But I finally got a job. Honestly I wasn't expecting this and due to many events today and being abused by my parents, I have mixed feelings about it. I can barely feel excited because of all the terrible things in my life. This means I actually have to live :(.

I'm so upset someone please console me this is terrible lol, no but really it IS that serious what a nightmare

On the plus side, I know working at a job can make life feel a little more manageable. I remember, when I was a teenager and got my first job at a convenience store, it gave me a reason to actually get out of bed. My reason to live for like 2 years was literally just to guide old ladies to the spaghetti sauce.

But with abusive parents they could ruin all of this, it could be used against me, they could steal my money, force me to quit, take my phone, withhold transportation, etc etc.
