Venting I don't want to die, but I need to

Everyday I hope that God will take away my pain. Every time I go totherapy I expect him to say magical words that will make me feel something again. I even started going to church out of desperation. Nothing changes.

It's so sad to go out like this. But it's all I have left.

I tried the church thing a long time ago and prayer didn't help. Sadly that only widened the gap between me and my faith in a god.

Therapy requires a professional who you trust and connect with. but it's a process and takes time. Personally. I would put more faith and effort into therapy than with trying to praying away your pain, but I respect your choice. Maybe try both and decide for yourself which yields greater results.

Same thing here. My family is deeply religious but I've never felt anything. The worst thing is going to church and hearing how it's all a trial by God to test your faith.

I feel the same way. I wish so much i could have had a fair chance at life but I simply had bad luck with my circumstances. Now all i have is mental pain, isolation and absolutely total disconnection from society. I know full well that i have to ctb otherwise i will still in 10,20 or 30 years live the same miserable existence…

Religious people will always circle back to how their god "works in mysterious ways" but it's an excuse for them because they really don't have an answer or choose not to seek help in other forms. Meanwhile, you're suffering and need something besides the faith in what those in the secular world would call an imaginary father figure.

Again, I respect those who have faith. I honestly wish I had that sort of blind devotion, but years of suffering made me seek answers from more tangible sources.

It's just so cruel to me how there's all this suffering in existing, it really sounds like you've suffered so much, I hope you find the relief you search for, I wish you the best.
