Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My ex-boyfriend, every time I told him I wanted to break up with him, he always threatened to commit suicide, jumping off the roof, cutting himself, even hanging himself. The last time he sent me a picture of a gun. I always wanted to end things with him on good terms, I even cared a lot about him, but he got to a point where he broke me and left me mentally and emotionally exhausted. Until now I don't know anything about him. I'm worried that he'll come back with something worse, but on the other hand, from the bottom of my heart I always wanted him to find peace.

I would like to know how the mind works behind these kinds of people, I never understood why they do that, what do they want to achieve by threatening others with killing themselves?

I think it's just a manipulation tactic. Even if they're not purposefully trying to manipulate you

I'm sorry you're going through that. Please know that no amount of trauma or hurt excuses this sort of behavior.

Mental illness with emotional instability can cause this behavior.
