I've tried it several times but I'm still alive. It's really easy to get to the point of passing out but the problem is somehow regaining consciousness after that.
And I've seen this happen to many people on this forum as well..
So far the only reason I can think of for regaining consciousness is that when you're doing partial, since your body is touching the ground, you most likely twitch after passing out which probably leads to changing your position slightly, which I guess results in the pressure on you arteries being loosened or something like that.

If anyone knows a specific partial position that has high success rate I'd like to know

It's definitely not the walk in the park that some make it out to be. When I tried hanging, I had done a ton of research on it... including reading posts on here. I still managed to struggle with the type for rope, its positioning, my body's self-preservation instinct, etc. Gasping for air in a state of panic is not fun. I give enormous credit to those who have been successful while doing it.

Before first doing partial I thought it had 100% success rate as long as I managed to pass out lol. Well now I know that's not true and it sucks

I've tried it twice and chickened out. I didn't feel like loosing consciousness at all. I think you need a very strong will to get it done

What type of rope you using and how thick?

Where did you position the rope on your neck? Above the Adam's apple below it?

And how long does it take for you to lose consciousness?

I tried multiple times with looping the rope over a hook and holding it in my hands so i release it when i pass out, but after hours and multiple attempts over several days i just can't pass out, don't know what I'm doing wrong.

It's a thin nylon rope. I placed it above my Adam's apple. It seems to take anywhere between 5-20 secs in my experience

You could try extending your legs forward. If you do that, it's impossible to stand up or ease the pressure involuntarily.

The following videos show people using this position:

Yeah I've also come to conclusion that this is most likely the best partial position. I'd prefer to go out with SN but it seems practically impossible to obtain SN where I live so if I ever have to partial again, I'm going to use that position
