i bough it a while ago without making any other researches but the label doesn't talk about the purity but it says its toxic if you ingest TOO much. All i know is that this SN is used in textile and paper industry, phosphating and tempering of steel sheets.

It should state SN percentage on the package. If not you would need to test it with the aquarium strips but even that is not accurate enough to tell you the exact SN percentage.

Oh that's technical grade SN. I think there should be information from wherever you got it from regarding its assay like a spec sheet or something which is usually standard. Comparatively, I think Technical grade isn't as pure as something like Reagent grade but having said that, I think it's your best interest to assauge yourself of any doubts regarding its purity.
