• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So, im just having major imposter syndrome today and nobody seems to even want to help so I'm here.

My therapy appointment is coming up soon and I want to try to get a diagnosis for autism but I feel like I'm a major faker. I dont remember my childhood, and even then I just seem like a normal kid, but I know i was a outcast, and I fit most of the symptoms maybe. I just...i don't fit every criteria perfectly and I hate it. I just want to know whats wrong, I don't understand what's wrong. I just want to fit the label properly and be normal like everyone else with autism too. They fit it, I don't understand why I'm not perfectly fitting it too.

It is really stressful for me, I just want to find out what's wrong because not even i understand it most of the time. I also don't know if it's just internalized masking from trauma or if I'm really just a normal depressed person.

I dont know...should I even still ask the therapist. I dont know :(

Not everyone conforms to the rule book.

I understand how you feel. Do know that therapists are supposed to empathize with you and not invalidate your concerns and feelings.

Psychiatrists often misdiagnose conditions as not everyone fits the mould.

Do talk to your therapist and make sure they listen without judgement and offer you empathy.
