Yesterday I had a suicidal episode and bought a bottle of toxic substances from a weird website to poison myself. I entered my credit card number, so I hope I don't get hacked. I wonder when the package will arrive (probably never if it's a scam). Plus, I thought it was an instant poison, but apparently it takes at least an hour to die. I've overdosed on medication before, and it was truly horrible. I felt like I was having a heart attack and throwing up at the same time, with excruciating headaches, so I don't want to go through that again. I'll still try a small dose to see what it feels like.

I happened to see a prevention article titled "Suicide by ingestion of nitrite salts: it's possible!" which gave the lethal quantities, so it made me want to try it, lol.

If it's Sodium Nitrite you need to make sure it's pure (at least 98%). Also, you'll need antiemetics. There's an SN guide on the SaSa site.

The website is in German and I don't understand any of the information, but I think the purity will be marked on the bottle. I hadn't even noticed that this was a popular methods on the forum. Buying it will probably become impossible soon, Amazon is already being sued for selling it.

You should never buy random "poison" online without first knowing what it is an how it kills. Reading an article saying people died from it can land you in a very horrible place.

to add on to what Forveleth said above, on top of making sure to never test-ingest SN, make sure the SN you have purchased is over 95% purity for it to be good for CTB.

You can find more information on testing in these two threads, as the one that is mentioned in Vizzy's SN Bible/guide does not account for the molar mass difference between nitrite and sodium nitrite when using aquarium test kits.

It is also important to note that SN oxidizes (breaks down) fast when left in open air, make sure to store it in a dark, cool area and keep it sealed.
