Just a simple list of the materials that you would need to buy? I am going to finish reading the thread, but I'm trying to break the method down to the basics you would need.

CO is extremely dangerous to other people as its so lethal. This is why CO and H2S are both discouraged here.

You must make sure you take all necessary precautions to protect other people with either method.

This includes not doing them inside a shared building, putting up warnings on cars/tents etc, making sure no one unexpected can walk in.

CO and H2S can cause unconscious in a single breath at CTB method levels.

I'd also add to the list a CO analyzer to the list of things, which significantly raises the cost, but is not totally necessary (it's discussed, and options are linked in the comments)
